Last year, we started a family tradition of reading Bible verse cards after we ate our breakfast on Christmas morning. Our entire family enjoy seeing what spiritual gifts are laid out in the Bible and turning our hearts to Him before turning our focus on earthly gifts.
Here is how you can start a new family tradition for Christmas or any time of the year when a study on what the Bible says about ‘gifts’ would bless your family:
Print out the 12 Printable Bible Verses Cards About Gifts onto card stock or laminate them, so they can last for a long time.
To make this new tradition a special one, we used red glitter gift boxes to put the Bible verse cards in and had them as part of our table decorations for breakfast. The younger children couldn’t wait to see what was inside! We even placed a candy cane place card on top of each box, so that we ensured that our children read the verses that we best suited for each of them.
I’m sure you will find that this tradition could make for a wonderful Christ Centered Christmas.
